Spare parts from partner countries of Ukraine were found in "Shahed" drones - Danilov
We are talking about parts that are not manufactured either in Iran or in Russia.

Spare parts from countries that are partners of Ukraine were found in Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles.

This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov on the air of the information telethon, commenting on the information that some countries are helping the Russian Federation not only to circumvent sanctions but also to increase the production of missiles and drones.

He noted that it is necessary to understand how Russia, being under sanctions, uses spare parts of countries that are very friendly to Ukraine, its partners.

"This is not the first such case. We understand what certain components of "Shahid" consist of. We have almost a whole "Shahid" in stock. It so happened that our military repeatedly landed this iron scum, which brings death to our citizens. They disassembled it, and, unfortunately, they found parts there that are not produced either in Iran or in Russia," Danilov said.

At the same time, the NSDC secretary noted that spare parts manufactured in 2019-2021 could have been purchased in advance, even during the preparation for a full-scale war.

"But this does not remove certain processes that are under control and were reported at the Stavka meeting today," he stressed.

Russia is being helped to circumvent sanctions: what is known

Today, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, said that he was tired of fighting with countries that help the Russian Federation to circumvent sanctions, so he wants to bring the discussion of this problem to the public plane.

According to him, some states allow the aggressor country to produce more missiles.

At the same time, POLITICO reported that the European Union may mitigate the punishment for countries that help Russia circumvent sanctions in the next sanctions package.
